tdhandm, why isn't this warranty,i think ventrac is a awesome tractor, im surprised, maybe its the repair shop

He has 2 posts both complaining about products he bought.

They haven't made that model in 3 or 4 years now,as I remember....they didn't do much initially,eventually they released an aluminum radiator upgrade for all liquid cooled vanguards,that seems to have helped with the temp on the 4231 td....That engine is no longer available either,so when your turbodiesel blows up and it will,you'll be installing a non turbo engine unless you can find some old stock somewhere....Briggs and stratton and ventrac both pushed blame on the other with the turbodiesel engine,my dealer had several that were denied warranty when the owners serviced the engine properly and did everything right,they got left with a 6000 dollar bill on. 2-3 yr old machine with 6-800 hrs.....

Sad, as long as the money is going their way all is good. Their mistake and the money still goes their way and the customer gets shafted. Ventrac does have some issues……. jim
