Yes, the grapple is an add-on. It also requires front dual hydraulics.

Knowing Ventrac I'll guess about 3k. I already have a grapple for my tractor.

I like the idea of a grapple,but I'd rather a root grapple ,I don't want the expense of dual front hydraulics,and I'd rather be able to rake out overgrown areas ,pull roots and grab brush and logs...
