I believe the power trac 1430 is rated up 30 degree slope, you might give them a call and have them verify that. 1 800 the yard.

The Ventrac unquestionably handles the job as was demonstrated at my property with a Ventrac unit.

Right there's your answer... at least you've witnessed the machine in your actual conditions and know it can do the job. You're completely across the country from Power Trac with no dealers. Unless you can get a Power Trac on your site, or go drive one at someone's place that has similar conditions to your place, DON'T DO IT! As much as I love my PT425 and tout its awesome abilities... I wouldn't have purchased it sight unseen. I was fortunate to find a landscaper that had two of them locally just by chance, and he showed me how it worked. If it wasn't for that hands-on experience, you'd be talking to a New Holland owner. :laughing:

I bought my 1850 sight unseen - never saw a PT in person before buying it. Sometimes you just have to trust the research you do and sites like this make that much easier to do.

So today I spent a good 15 minutes mowing at around 40 degrees (not temp, angle) Boy is that steep. Even though my machine can do it with ease I clutch tight to the ROPS and the steering wheel.

I bought mine after research for slope capable tractor, and clicking on MossRoad icon, saying 'see my little tractor in action' I'd used tractors before, but never saw one like these.
