Like most, I'm hunkered down for the storm and finding things to stay busy. I figured I'd dig through my venison and see what I could make. I decided to make a couple of batches of venison meatballs using this recipe. Venison Meatballs I then vacuum packed them 6 per bag and put in the freezer. When my daughter visits from college, I'll stock her up with some frozen venison chili, meatballs and jerky.
While digging through the freezer, I did see a nice axis deer roast. I think I'll cook that this week and it'll feed the wife and I for a few days. I need to get some Shiner Bock beer, that's what I use in the recipe.
