I got a request for some pics that is my avatar. It's been pretty hot out so thinking snow might be nice for a change. Notice the cheap S.O.B. (me) that didn't go for the cab!:thumbsup: It's an old blade that Messicks had in PA that I made a hitch to fit. Thats a M9540 it's hooked to and these photo's are the first time that I got enough snow to use it! In MD! Still gotta move it and the tractor north to my new place. (anybody looking for 128ac. farm in Frederick Co. MD?)

Thanks RI. Looks like you need every bit of that size tractor to push that plow and with no chains. How'd it work out for you? Most people are looking to escape the snow and move to warmer climes but you did it in reverse so you must really like snow.

Arrow, for me personally, the weather in the mid atlantic is **** Way to hot and humid spring/summer and mostly sucky cold, damp rainy winters. Besides, way to many people.
The v blade seems to work fine, it took a little time to get used to the angle you need to set it at (rollback/dump) for the blade to sit with all 3 "shoes" on the ground. I usually plow "with the storm" with a reg. angle blade but if the storm get ahead of me the V should "poke a hole thuough it". It seems also to do an ok job at widening or pushing back tall snow banks, but I have a buddy with a cool old Osh Kosh with a V and wing to put me to shame if I'm (literally) in over my head.:laughing:

Looks like a beast.

I have two words for you:

1) Snowblower
2) Cab

Man, do I want a cab for when I'm running my snowblower....OTOH, you don't have to go out and brave the storm with a 'blower - you can wait until it's all done and the sun comes out

Very cool! There is a smaller version of a vee plow on someones lawn near my place, would be neat to have but only as a lawn ornament You need a blower!:thumbsup: No cab builds character
