Various Tractor Fluids, YM2000 w/Loader

Hi Folks,

I received a hard copy of my service manual the other day. Too bad I was expecting a nicely laminited edition. I think I should have orderd the CD instead, lol.

Anyhow, I could not locate anywhere within the manual where to check the hydraulic fluid for either the 3pt lift nor the front loader. So far I have located the engine, transmission and coolant -but none of the hydraulics.

Can anyone help me locate the where to check hydraulic fluids?

Am i missing any other fluids?

Almost forgot, here are some pics of my new toy. Thanks again for ya'lls help.

It should be around the top of the transmission around the shifter area

That is the transmission.

The transmission & hydraulic system use the same reservoir. That info will not be in the service manual. It is in the operation manual..

That is the transmission.

The transmission & hyd fluid are one in the same. Use JD 303 spec. fluid

Interesting... I am new to tractors so everything is a surprise to me, lol. Sounds very low maintenance. So both the 3pt lift and front loader operate from the same fluids?
