Van Sickle paints for Kubota

Anyone ever used Van Sickle paint to paint a Kubota tractor?

Local place near me sells it along with the hardener. Looks like pretty good paint and the reviews online seem pretty favorable.

Any thoughts?

I've used their paint for years on different tractors, and it is always the right shade of color an has a heck of a shine to it. It is good quality paint IMO

Here is a pic (not very good one) of the wifes little a-81 wheel horse that I just used van sickle spray cans on. There's no clear on it either, an look at the shine on it. You can even see the reflection of the handles in the side of it. You can even see the grass reflecting on the side of the mower deck......

I am currently working on a project using Van Sickle paint with hardener in two different colors (not Kubota) after priming with same brand. Cure time is pretty long (I called the manufacturer after I was wondering if I was screwing something up) and I am still undecided as to whether or not I am happy with the hardness factor. Will post more later. So far it may not harden up as much as I would like.

Yeah, theirs takes longer to cure, but that lets it flow out more, an thats where the shine comes from. I always use 4 lite coats about 15 min apart. Remember, the harder it gets, the easier it'll chip....
