Valve stems on duals

I have not installed my tire sealant yet because I have read the problems some have had with valve stems being pulled out by branches, etc. I wanted to take care of that before adding the sealant although the bullet proof stuff might seal the stem hole! Some said they put in right angle metal stems. Do these work better just because they are at right angles or do they have a nut securing them in the rim instead of just being compressed in like a grommet?

I will have to find a source for these.

Metal stems are secured by a nut on the outside. Some have a nut on the inside, some have the nut on the outside. I buy most all my tire supplies from Myers Tire Supply.

I have seen metal stems at Sears....I think the local auto parts stores carry them too.
