Valve Lash

Can anyone tell me what the correct valve lash should be on a Mahindra 485DI?
Unfortunately, I don't have a service manual for this tractor.

I have the service manual for my 5005, I think the 485 is in there too. I'll take a look when I get home tonight.

Sorry, my service manual lists the 5005, 4505, 3505, and E350.
Maybe some help from mahindrausa?

Hudr, thanks for trying. Out of curiousity, what's the valve setting for your 5005?

Did you ever get your valve lash settings? I am SO sorry I never posted the settings for my 5005. Seems I never have the shop manual at the PC I am posting from at the time. I am at work now, but will try to remember to drag the manual down when I get home tonight.

Do you mean the "valve clearances"?

If so, this is what my Operator's manual for my 485 DI states in it:

A).....INLET VALVES: ..........HOT....0.012 (in.)
.........COLD....0.016 (in.)

B).....EXHAUST VALVES.......HOT.....0.016 (in.)
.......COLD....0.020 (in.)
