Tires Value of rice tires and rims-plan a change to turf

Well, I finally got rims and tires shipped up from Georgia...got them as a set on E-bay (and shipped here) for less than the 9.5 x 22 Firestone tires without rims. The side benefit is that the turf tires I have are now 14" wide instead of just 9.5" and they will bolt directly on my JD 4100 also if needed.

Instead of welding and drilling the center disc I had a friend turn some solid steel hub adapters. Here is a pic of the adapters before they were installed. I will try to downlaod the rims and adapters on the tractor also.

here is an over-all view of the new wheels on the tractor. Don't worry about all the missing sheet metal...I am starting to disassemble so I can repaint in the spring. The front rims will be improved also. The rear fenders DO clear but will be changed slightly to give a bit more room.
