I looked at a B7300 with a 60' MMM tonight. It has about 600 hours on it. I don't know anything about this model, and I'd like to get some opinions of what you guys think it might be worth. FYI, no FEL.
I'm sure I can buy it for $4,000 and maybe less. But I have no idea if that's a decent deal or not. I've been looking at zero turn mowers, but this would fit my needs better and you can't buy any decent ZTR, even used, for $4,000.
It ran fine, everything worked and didn't have any obvious issues EXCEPT for one thing. It leaks oil from somewhere onto the front middle of the MMM. I couldn't identify the source of the leak. There is a rubber boot underneath the tractor that appears to surround a connecting point on the drive shaft to the front wheels. That rubber boot is directly above the front of the MMM, and the rubber boot was somewhat oily, but I think the oil is leaking from somewhere above that boot. It appears to be a very slow leak, as I didn't see it drip while I was there. (You can probably tell I'm not a mechanic. )
Worries me a little bit, but I might roll the dice if the price is right. I'm not qualified to split a tractor, so if the issue is a big deal I'd have to take it to the Kubota dealer, which might mean big bucks.
