Value of 782D

Hello All-

There is an old CC 782D not too far away from me for sale. The unit has been maintained well. 1780+ hours on the Kubota diesel and 46" deck. No other items included.

What would be a fair offer for the unit?

It's got to be worth $1000 if it's clean and fully functional. A good used 3cyl 'bota diesel can go for that alone. It's tough to come up with a figure as these are fairly rare beasts!

There's one on Ebay, the bids at $1300 or so. It has 1700 hrs.

hi if you think these are rare then in the UK they are extinct
I have bought a 1572 diesel on ebay recently for £2000 ( $3500 ) it was brought to the UK from philadelphia by a brit who had been working in USA 10 yrs ago . it included a snow blower , chains and trailer and has done only 400 hrs
my 2nd cub is a 1872 ( identical but 1yr younger ) again on ebay and cost only £380 but was missing he deck carriage , 1 side panel and the grill , I got these from Joes outdoor power via ebay and the shipping cost more than the bits . My daughters now have one each and mow our field .
All cubs cost big money in the UK , my 109 cost £400 and is in need of a full restoration.

so if you bought the 782D put it in a crate and shipp it over to me for a small profit !!!

by the way agricultural diesel is approx £2 a gallon and gasoline is nearly £5
