i've been looking at bobcat toolcat to mow 40 acres, but 50,000 is a lot, is there another uv that i could consider, i do like the 90 inch deck option on the toolcat but will consider pulling a deck to save $ thanks

If you change your mower the world is your oyster.

If your going to mow 40 acres, I would consider an 85-90 pto hp tractor with MFWD (40-50K) and 15' batwing mower (14K). It will still take several hours.

The only UV really design to mow would be the Bobcat UV with mower mounted on the front. You could buy a pull behind mower (self powered) to pull behind any UV. However, it would probably take 2-3x as long as the toolcat. Toolcat will still take several days to mow. I don't believe either the toolcat or UV is a realistic/reasonable way to mow 40 acres.

I agree with radman1, don't believe the toolcat or the UV is the answer for 40 plus acres.

Batwing

I was mowing 40 acres with my 4720 and a 6' mower. Middle of summer 05 - I went down and bought a JD 5525 cab with a 15' batwing. I used it today and the payment does not seem so bad when it is 100' outside...
