UTB/Universal 640

Anybody ever use a UTB/Universal 640 before? I looking at buying one right now! But dont know much about those! Any info would be good info.

UTB are made in Romania and are of very bad Quality. They may look like Fiat, but are not. Very few Fiat parts fits.
Try to forget this one!!!!!

They are basically FIAT tractors built under licence in Romania. Same attributes as the FIATs but poorer build quality. That shouldn't be an issue on a thirty year old tractor! They were sold as Longs - quite them in the forum archive. Good tough agricultural tractors with lots more meat than a CUT.
I have a 445DT (3 cyl, 45 hp 4X4) which I am quite happy with. There's a fair few still in use in Wales, but lots are now re-exported back to Eastern Europe
