Using a Posthole Digger on a CCYanmar Sc2450 ?

Has anyone used one of the 7200 JR Posthole diggers on there SCUT ?

I own a CCYanmar-Sc2450 and thinking about getting one... but also thinking (smoke) if the tractor will lift the Attachment high enough for travel and removal from the hole.

I watched the video from EA.com about the fitment but they do not show a SCUT using it just a larger framed tractor.


Anyone have an opinion on this ?

I haven't used that one, but I have a woods phd 35 on my Sc2400 with a 42" L x 9" diameter auger, I think it is.

I want to say that there's about 6" or so from the point on the auger to the ground with the 3pt at it's highest settings. When I have it on and I'm driving around with it, I tend to keep an eye on it though as the point will drag the ground depending on the level of the ground. I've used it a couple of times and the Sc2400 seems to handle it just fine.

It looks like the 7200 JR will fit on the JD2305 so I don't see why you would have any problems on the Sc2450.

I'm not sure which video you watched, but they do have it hooked to a scut.

The pics look like it will work, I will check out the size difference.

Yes I looked at that vid but I didn’t know how the two SCUTs matched up.

i have a yanmar 2000 and have used my neighbors PHD that is from tractor supply company. I can clear the hole and road when lifted up to move around as well as lower it to as deep as the auger will go.
