I have a 5500 4x4, with one set of rear remotes, when using a 3-point log splitter does the valve under the seat stay in one postion all the time and just use the valve on the log splitting unit? I just want to be sure. Thanks.

Yes, have your rear valvecontrol in detent or open, lever will lock open. That is putting flow to your splitter. Then you will use your splitter control valve to control the splitter functions.
