uShip.com has anyone used it?

Hey List,

My wife finally gave me the thumbs up for a new (to us) RZR and I got one .. but have to get it shipped to Colorado from Arkansas.

Have any of you used uShip - The Online Shipping Marketplace - Ship Freight, Furniture, Cars or Moves for shipping Quads or Tractors etc? If so what were your experiences?

I have used uShip and the result was very good. Got my JD 110 TLB moved from OR to CA for a very reasonable price.

If you have special instructions at delivery, be sure to tell the driver yourself. My driver used a dispatch service, not his own dispatcher, and the service did not communicate my concerns about him being able to get out after delivering the load to my address. I had wanted him to stop about 1/4 mile short and call me so I could road the tractor the last 1/4 mile which would have been much easier.

I would use uShip again with no hesitation.

I have used UShip and it was a good experience. The web site handles all aspects of the transaction and you sit back and wait for bids from shippers. In fact, I was buried in bids/offers on my shipment. I ended up with a shipper that could meet my schedule exactly and he had a very competitive price. Good luck.

Thanks Guys for your responses. I was a bit werry of it at first.. but seems to be a decent service ... I've even had fleeting thoughts of looking for stuff to haul from Denver to MN on my next trip up there ... help pay for fuel at least?

I used uShip to ship an old IH plow from the Springfield IL area to my place in Northern CA four years ago. No problems. Took about 2 weeks since the guy with the gooseneck/GMC 3500 had to make several other pickups to make a full load before heading to CA.
