Used Tractor Pricing on a Craftsman

Am I pricing my 10 year old tractor correctly?

$700 -> Craftsman Tractor / Bagger / Trailer

Craftsman Tractor Model No. 917.271100 with a 16.5 Kohler Pro OHV Engine with Hydrostatic transmission. - Engine runs strong and estimated 400 hours on it. 42" cutting deck with bagger. 2 Extra new belts. Front bumper. 14 CU. FT. Dump Cart Model NO. 610.243860 (1250 LB capacity). Transmission experienced a heat issue at the end of last season. After running for 1 hour the tractors transmission made some noise. After it cooled down it sounded fine and finished cutting the lawn. If you are mechanically inclined it may be a quick fix. Recent new starter/solenoid and steering assembly. One owner, always maintained well and stored in shed for live of tractor.

Even though it is in good shape and has the trailer, I'd think $400-500 would be more likely a target price. These things only cost $1000-1200 ten years ago if I recall correctly. The trailer can be had for 100.

I might give 25 to 30 bucks or so for the trailer.

Sure. You can price it at $700. It looks nice. Someone will bite.

Last summer I paid $600 for a 1974 Bolens G14 riding mower that has a really nice, hardly used pto-driven rototiller that I need (actually, want) to plow my veg garden. I just replaced the battery yesterday and the muffler will have to be replaced eventually. When the Tecumseh engine craps out, I'll rebuild it.

I would not waist the dump feature on that.

Customer on CraigsList picked it up for $700. Did not even try to offer less $$$. Looking at the John Deere 135 SE / Bagger / 10P cart.
