Used TC30 price check

Was just at a local dealer looking at a TC30 w/ loader with 2400 hours.
was used at a horse farm to mostly move manure around.
back of the loader bucket is rotting through in areas, back fenders also rotted through in areas.
Mechanically it seems fine, they are asking 8500.
Is this a good deal ?

Owning a 2003 or 2004 TC 30 myself and having less than 800 hours on mine , ( it is used mainly on weekends only doing everything from Backhoe work to Brush mowing , Disking , Road Grading , etc.... ) , I really Doubt it is worth that much , especially with the price of parts . Take a picture if you can and post it , lets see what it looks like .

I have a 2003 TC40 with 1700 hours. Like FredH above, knowing the wear at my hours, 2400 is a lot.

High hours and the rusting-out bucket and fenders, I would wonder what else is in pretty bad shape, like the steel hydraulic lines for the loader. If it is at a dealer, the previous owner probably didn't think they could private sale it very easily due to condition.

Someone who wouldn't take the time to hose out the bucket after use and park it in a dumped position to let it dry, probably didn't take very good care of that machine in general.

It doesn't sound like a good deal, nor am I sure I would want that tractor to begin with.

Picked up an '01 TC30 last year with loader, box blade, discs, bush hog, and tines with 350 hours for $11k. All were in used but good shape. I think you can get something better for $8500.
