Years ago was talking to a hunter who leased
land to hunt on the fee was $1500 just to hunt
deer on.
I don't hunt anymore but we have deer that live
in our back yard.

You don't need any equipment to own farmland. You rent it out.

I have both, farmland and rental property and I agree 100% with Coobie, rentals are 10 times the grief of renting farmland out. Wish I didn't have them (rentals). Constant PITA.
