Used L2350

I have the opportunity to buy a 1996 L2350 with 484 hours. It is 4x4, not HST, and includes a Woods 155 FEL and Woods 7500 BH. Owner says a tree fell across the bucket causing some minor dents and front body damage. Not the cleanest looking machine but it started right up. Owner will throw in a box blade, bush hog, rototiller, rake, and single blade plow. All the implements have been out in the weather and show signs of it, but have been little used.

Owner wants $15K. MachinerLink.com says tractor value is less than $7K. This sized machine would be ideal for my initial needs but I would likely downsize within 3 years.

Should I go for it, or stay clear?

I would say for 15K you could buy a machine you think will fit your future needs and rent a bigger machine to solve your current issues and still have some left over.
