used kubota

A buddy of mine went and looked at a used kubota today. Its a 2005 B3030, has industrial tires, 6 foot belly mower, LA403 loader, BH 75 backhoe and hydro. tranny. A 12 inch bucket on the backhoe and approx. 300 hours on it. It is in well cared for condition and the people are asking $22,500. Is that a reasonable price? Thanks bedway

He is getting a MMM, But its 3 years old and has 300 hours on it. If he is financing it, he may as well get a brand new one. He will save the price of the MMM in finance charges if he finances for 0% for 42 months with Kubota Finance.

For example 05 B3030-22,500.00 Financed @ 6.9% for 42 months =25,390.00 Total Paid.

08 B3030 HST R4s, La403, RCK 72" MMM, and BH75 should run you around $26000.00.
$26,000.00 @ 0.0% for 42 months= $26000.00

WOW, tractors are cheap in Vermont !!! Here in Montreal, that same tractor brand new is 31,000 $ I just bought a B2630 (2007, 10 months old) with LA403 and BH75, with 280 hours on the meter for 24,000 $, and that was a good price in this area.

Ya, I cant believe how much you guys have to pay for toys up there in canada. I feel really bad for you guys. Probably makes you want to go through the trouble of importing it from the states? But, as I remember, it is not an easy process to do that.

I think you are quoting price on a B3030 with a cab, and their prices are for a B3030 without a cab, but with the mentioned attachments. However, USA prices are cheaper, and it is not difficult to bring into Canada. I have done it!

Unfortunately, NO ! It's a price without a cab. A B3030 with a cab is around 36,500 $ + taxes. A B2630 is 29,500 $ + taxes !

In Nov. for new I was quoted $30,000 for B3030HSDC (cab) with loader and dual rear remotes. I purchased used with 48 hours from Padula Brothers in Mass. - asking price $19500.US dollars. When I changed Canadian funds to USA the Canadian dollar had spiked at $1.10US so saved over $1000. off purchase with exchange dollars. Padula had the cab upgraded (electric defrost and 60amp alternator package) and dual remotes installed. They were excellent to deal with and importing was easy. Details can be found elsewhere if searched.

WOW, absolutely amazing !!!! Too late now, as I have already purchased at my local dealer.

But just to be clear, all the prices I was talking about are a tractor + loader LA403 and backhoe BH75. The cost a BH75 is about 8500 $, that would account for the price difference.
