used kubota L2800

I bought a used Kubota L2800. This the first orange tractor I owned. Always had JD. This may sound stupid but where is the dip stick? I have looked on the right side where oil filter is. The only thing there is a black plug that will come out. No stick on it. Don't have a book yet. A reply Would be great. thanks little k

I have an L2900 and had a hard time finding mine. If you are sitting in the seat mine is on the left side about in the center of the side engine cover. You don't have to open any of the covers to find it, it is just below the side cover and hard to see. I have to get down on my knees to see the hole to put mine back. Since my tractor doesn't use much oil I don't check it often.

Thanks for the responce. I looked on left side & still can't find dip stick. Will look harder. It has to be there some place. little k

On my L2800 (2009) it is on the right side when sitting on the tractor. Locate the oil filter, look to the left past the fuel filter, the yellow/ mustard dot in my picture. The top is not very big.
