Slacker said:The NC craigslist is being overrun with Tractors for sale at ridiculously low prices. If you contact the seller, this is the email you get:
(fyi, I'm currently jacking with this guy...just bored at work)
ETA: If you see a for sale amount with $#### US, chances are its a foreign national.

Hello there,
First of all you must know that right now I'm located in Houston, TX and the tractor will be shipped from here.
Here are some details about the tractor.
It has been never wrecked or damaged.
The asking price is $3800US, shipping included.
It comes with 2 years of warranty. All the manuals and the original
documentation come along with the tractor. You will receive it in
2-3 working days by DAS at your home address. It is
insured in case of damage.
The payment is fully refundable. If for any reason you do not accept the
tractor or if it has scratches, hidden defects, or it is not as
advertised I will even pay for the shipping back to my location if you
reject it but i'm sure that it will won't happen cause it works and
looks perfectly.
Because it is a large transaction we will complete the deal only using an authorised third party like Ebay, using their Business Purchase Protection Program.
If you are still interested just send me your full name and shipping
address. I will forward your infos and they will notify you about our
deal.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you.

I wonder how many hits they need per thousand spam mails to make a profit?
I guess the spammers are pretty stupid...or they think we're pretty stupid.
Yep... that stops 'em quick!npaden said:I messed with one of the tractor spammers on Craigslist a few months ago. Emailed them and they said the tractor was somewhere 1,000+ miles away and I replied that I was going to actually be in that town the next day on business and would like to stop by and look at the tractor and haul it home myself. Never heard back from them....![]()
