Used Deere but whats a good price?

Im looking a buying a used 2002 Deere 4200 with 420 loader r3 tires and 60in mmm and 750hrs for $13500 or a 2005 Deere 3520 with 300cx loader r4 tires and 1500hrs for $15500. Both are in great shape but I dont know if either of them are a good deal?:confused3: As you can tell im a noob right now.

IMHO, that's a bit high for the 4200...about $2K too high.

Between the two, I'd go for the 3520. The biggest complaint about the 4200 was a lack of power, considering it's size and weight. The 3520 is very close in power to the older 4400, the 300cx loader has more capacity then the 420 loader.
Both use a Yanmar engine and 1500 hours wouldn't bother me a bit.

So the 3520 got snatched out right from under my nose:banghead: but I found two other tractors both are 4x10 series tractors with 1400hrs one being a 4310 epower reverse with r4s and 420 loader for $12900 the other is a 4410 ehydro with r3s and 430 loader with 60in mmm for $15500. Im leaning towards the 4410 if They would go $14000 but I dont want to low ball them.

Yeah, gotta move fast on used Deeres sometimes.
Either the 4310 or 4410 would be a good choice. Good power and reliable.
Although I'm a gear tranny guy, I'd also go for the 4410 since it has turf tires. Turfs are great for mowing and better then R4s for snow plowing.

For comparison purposes, I paid $13500 for my 2000 4400 with turfs (R3 tires), 430 loader and an 84" RFM. Mine had 804 hours on the meter and has the Sync-Reverser and less electronics then either the 4310 or 4410. This was when we lived in PA about 3 years ago...a few miles SE of York, BTW.
As far as your offer...can't hurt to see what kind of response you get when you offer $14K.
