Used Cub Deal / What would you do ??

Hello All: I am currently looking at a few used cubs and sure would like some opinions on there value. Im looking at a 2523 cub thats a 04 with 114Hrs 54" deck 23HP 2500 series used for $2400-2300 thats a private sale,,, Local dealer has a 3200 series 02 with 107 hrs (suspicious) thats a little beat with a 60" deck for $3600 but might go $3200-3400, same dealer also has a new 3200 series for $5800 new, I think list was 6200-6400, are any of these a decent deal? All opions welcome, thanks Ed......

what size deck is on the new 3200? or is that tractor only?

Ed, unless that 3K series is an absolute steal, I'd go for the 2523. A comparable brand-new model (2554) would cost you ~$4K. 114hrs is about 50hrs/yr. Pretty light use IMHO.

Well I wound up buying the 2523 for $2350 bucks. I found that in 04 the msrp was 3100 on the unit so Im sure the guy thinks thats a good price on his side. Anyway I have it and it runs good except for a few minor adjustments. I shaved about 40min off my mow time from my old 16/48" gilson, though it is 23 years old and still running but ragged.
