CUT stands for Compact Utility Tractor. Like Deisel noted, you will probably attract other answer more knowledgeable about CUTs over there...

That tractor would be considered a C.U.T.

This forum is for lawn/garden tractors.

With all due respect, I disagree. The TBN was designed for compact tractors, and broken down into manufacturers. There's certainly more Cub lawn and garden tractors discussed in the Cub forum, but if you look thru the history you'll see many Cub compact discussions. It's for all Cub tractors. Perhaps you're referring to the general CUT forum, but I think squeally is fine right here! Hope you didn't scare him away, as I have a 6284 and would gladly offer up advice.

OOOOOOOoooooops. Thought I was at "that other forum". My bad. I go back and forth so much I forget where I am half of the time. Bring it back squealy.................... SORRY!!! Was just trying to get you help in the 'correct' forum. I feel bad now.

LOL, no worries. Hopefully squelly will return. I can't even find his original question....guess he deleted it? I've got a 5000 series Cub that I sold my 1782 for....it's definitely in the SCUT category, or a Garden tractor on steroids!
