Used 3 point first time and the under carrage guard hangs low?

So I took off the backhoe for first time and installed a rear plow, my question is when the plow is lowered it makes the bxpanded under frame guard sit low, am I doing something wrong? How do I have plow down but guard up?

Raise the 3 point all the way. Turn the mower height control knob to the "TOP" position. That will keep the Under Armor from dropping when you lower the 3 point..
