Don't know what the "-135/-145" means. We just call them T-Posts down here. I have 6' showing with 4' of 2x4 fence with two rows of barbed on top of that. Even that doesn't keep anything that "wants" to get over from doing just that. Or feral hogs that go under or just through it. A couple of the neighbor's horses have about 100' of it pushed down to about 2' in a corner. I guess they liked what was growing over here.

Many, many years ago I installed a half mile of electric fence. Temporary until I had time for permanent barbed wire. I had a little, cheep-O electric fence tester. It seemed to indicate - no voltage.

So.....out of pure frustration I grabbed the wire. REALLY BIG MISTAKE. It didn't knock me down on my butt - however it was close. The @#$% tester went in the garbage.

If the unit sends the charge as an intermittent pile, you may have tested it between pulses. . . The grabbed it at exactly the right (or wrong) time
