A few weeks ago I installed Pat's Quick Hitch which makes hooking up my 3 point attachments much, much easier. However, with Pat's moving the lower linkages back a couple of inches, I found the top link had to be extended fully to connect to the attachment. And even then, it barely connected. I had to place the attachments on an unlevel surface to connect. It appears I'm not the first to have this problem (L2501 by the way). So I started looking to see if anyone sells a top link extension. Couldn't find one. Some people have been using their welders to fabricate custom solutions.
I also had trouble finding a longer top link. TractorSupply faked me out with their "extra long" top link which is the same size as what came with the L2501.
BUT, I finally did find one from Complete Tractor, also sold on Ebay. I purchased from Ebay for $30.33 which included free shipping; delivery in 4 days. Put in on the tractor yesterday and it performs exactly as desired. And it's easier to use than the OEM top link.
