I got in this time....I love looking at pictures. Question....how did you come up with the name Echo for your dog. Is there a story behind that?

Hey, thanks for checking it out! As far as the name Echo goes. We thought we would try to be original. She's registered with the American Border Collie Association.

When I called the lady that I bought her from to tell her what name to put on the documents she said, "oh really? Thats the second Echo in the litter!" /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif We decided her official name would be Miss Echo.

I must say, Border Collies are the smartest breed I've ever seen. If you want the closest thing to a child without having to pay for college, get a Border Collie. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I appreciate unique names, and I think that is a good one. Our last two dogs were brought home by my husband. Working dogs, Pig pasture dogs. He named them.

Girl and Sugar

It's downright embarrassing.

Girl is, well she's a girl all right, but how much imagination does that name take? Sugar looks absolutley nothing like sugar, I haven't the foggiest idea what prompted this name.

I would have named them differently, but their his, and he takes care of them...so.....
