Left the little tractor under a tree for two months as I had negotiated it up a very rutted road on my property to cut the fields.....very muddy and the tractor was slipping and sliding all over the place. Last week there was a hard freeze and the wife and I were up on the farm...figured the mud was frozen enough to make it down the road without incident. Now the tractor has been sitting under this tree through monsoons and many freezing cycles....old battery. With much trepidation and key in hand I went to fire it up and it started like it was new! I guess re-wiring and replacing almost all ignition components, and the tune-up I did was the trick. I love this overpriced (My fault) old piece of Detroit!
