UP Date on my Nortrac Tractor with 3 Hr on it

Well this is Frankm , Thats what i was going by , but they must have changed something on the site i couldnt sine in , so i sined up as a new member, any way i am Frank Maloof From near Erie pa , My Nortrac now has about 13 Hr on it and Everything seams to be just Great now , Northern had everything fixed on the tractor , New PTO Shaft , new HD Pump and new Valve , and i didnt have to pay a thing , so if any one would ask me there Great to deal with , a Friend is now getting one just like my 204, from northen .

That is a real good post. It shows how parts and service for these machines are excellent now. I'm so glad to see dealers are responding to contradict the notions that Chinese tractors "do not have any parts available" and "no service" for them. Thank you for the post.

I was told by Northen there is no waite on parts , they stock everything for them , you can even have the parts over nighted , to you if thats what you want , i think the guys that try to say bad things about the tractors , or try to get it out there about there bad or no parts, are the guys that are selling the other brands for way more money , heck i would say how bad they are if i sold the same size tractor for $18,000 that you can get for $9000, Hee Hee

With my old Rhino International I had a hard time at first finding someone that still stocked parts for them. Once I found a place I never had another problem getting parts. They even helped my over the phone a couple times with problems I was having. I bought that tractor long after the Alamo Group stopped importing those tractor from china and all the dealers had dried up. Hey, what can I say, LOL it was my first tractor. Lasted for 6 hard years and only failed on me once when the clutch let go. Can't really count dead batteries or flat tires. LOL Was a good tractor and I kinda wish I hadn't sold it now. Was a perfect brush hog tractor, small and powerful and would forever on 5 gallons of diesel.

in another thread there is a fellow having .. what i would call.. dealer issues with his dongfeng.. etc. Sounds like it is a 'snowball' kind of probelm. Started with a 10$ part and is now a huge headache..

Yeah, you must be right. I just read a couple of threads in the other forums about guys complaining about their dealers too. Maybe it's dealer revolt week or maybe just coincidence?

Coincidence methinks. Parts break.. I'm ok with that ( up to a point ).

Dealer service is what makes it bearable.. or unbearable.

When my NH 7610s had to go in to the dealer for hyd repair.. the shop manage went out of his way to save me about 350$ that he didn't really have to do. I appreciated it.. and he knew that. He also knows i buy all my filters and parts from him too... Including that tractor.. and the one previous to it... thus dealer relationship is a huge part of the sale..

I bought my NorTrac NT254 from a friend in 8/2005 and he bought it new in 9/2001. When I got it Ray had gotten parts under warranty and it was now 4 years old. It had some defective parts and I called and they replaced them at n/c. That was very nice of them and I appreciate it. It is running great and I just retorqued the head and set the overhead. The reason their tractors cost more is they do more dealer prep than most dealers. I am quite pleased with my tractor and I have made some mods. to it to better suit me. It has over 400hrs now.
