Kubota Tractor Loader L3560 HST+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3,700 pounds bare tractor, 5,400 pounds operating weight, 37 horsepower
Unverferth mostly manufactures for Big-Ag, however Unverferth's Freedom Line has a three point hitch mounted,
single-shank, PARABOLIC BLADE soil ripper/sub-soiler that appears to be an ideal match for my Kubota B3300SU/ 33-hp / 1,900 pounds.

In the T-B-N archive there are minimal references to Unverferth; none to their single or two shank soil rippers.

Unverferth's web site does not have a photo of the ground contact portion of the ripper. I have e-mailed Unverferth requesting same.

By enlarging web page photo it is apparent the three point hitch connection is via double-clevis on the ripper. (++)

Does anyone have DIRECT experience with one of these?

Jeff, have you looked at the Bush Hog subsoilers? I was just checking their website and ran across this, which looks similar to what you are looking for:

Thank you.

Shanks on the Bush Hog are 1-1/4" across the face. This is the same face width as the rippers on my Bush Hog (brand) Rollover Box Blade.

Shanks on the Unverferth are 3/4" across the face, which is better matched to my 1,900 pound tractor-loader. I would prefer the Unverferth but my e-mails seeking a photo of the ground contract portion of the ripper and a dealer willing to sell me one have been ignored.

I am still looking. I am sure something meeting my specs will turn up. It amazes me that a successful implement producer like Unverferth will ignore information requests from a potential customer, especially in November when shipments must be slow.

Those are not cheap... My local Deere dealer quoted me:

1 shank $1275. + $196.(frt) = $1471. + tx
2 shank $2145. + $261.(frt) = $2406. + tx
