Any of you experts have any idea what thee old parts are? Found them in an old storage shed. They are about 7" long...

Sickle bar tooth? (Tooth guards?)
Not sure the name, but they're from a sickle bar mower, or something similar like a haybine. The sickle bar blades/knives (teeth) slide back and forth inside them.

Keep them handy - would work great for end of line fishing weights when you head down to the Gulf for the big ones I never seam to catch.

. Did just that with old bent/ broken ones while growing up.
