Troops,

I recently (last week) purchased a 2009 JD 3720 and thus far I really like it. I have, however, found an ood litle indicator on my dash that I do not understand and would like some feedback from those wiser than I. Sinc I don't know how to articulate it, I am enclosing a picture which will hopefully help.

Whenever the tractor is running, there is an indicator on the display, right above the last number on the hour meter that flashes on and off constantly which is worrisome. I can't find it in the operator's manual; or the mechanic's repair guide I've purchased so I'm coming to you guys for help.

What is this?

Thanks in advance...

CK

That's just an indicator that the hour meter is adding hours.

If you have the engine off but ignition On, it will probably won't show or won't flash. Once you start the engine, it will flash again, meaning it's counting hours.

specifically it is an "hour glass" icon, common representation of time on all manner things.
