I shouldnt have let it sit so long...It went unused for 9 months in my shed.
I pulled it out, put the charger on the battery and let it come up..Hit the key and it cranked right up, no problems.
Drove it around about 5 minutes and saw steam up front. I killed it and popped the hood...and the overflow was letting off prrssure. I cracked the cap and coolant was on the level as always. It only has a little leak at the pump, I usually add a quart every 10 hours of use...
So Im guessing the stat is stuck...
I dont know where to get parts...but I do work at a NAPA store, so of it's made..and napa has it, I can get it...
I need a Thermostat, oil filter, fuel filter, and a number for a water pump..or maybe a pump rebuild kit.?
It's a MT372 (2wd) and it only has about 375 hours on it. A tree fell on it in 2004 during IVAN, and I got it after it sat unused for nearly 10 years. I got it running and have been using and abusing it since..Love the machine, and the 50" Haban cuts really well.
