UDT for both axle and transmission/hydraulics

Just finished my 50 hour service. Went smoothly. Kubota recommends either UDT or SAE 80/90 gear oil for front axle. To reduce variety of lubricants, have decided to use UDT for both axle and transmission/hydraulics. Are there any advantages, other than some cost savings, to using SAE 80/90 for front axle? Thanks for any input.

I went the same way as you. UDT for both. It saves on confusion in the future and having just one container for both axle and transmission. The tractor comes with UDT in the front axle. My dealer recommended staying with UDT in the front axle adding that putting a 90W in the front axle adds nothing but more time to drain it at the next oil change.

I have always done the same, did'nt want 90W in the front axle when cold weather comes.
