I'm in need of an internet solution for my rural Mississippi residence.
Unfortunately I've only one Mobley.

We have a freakin' DSL line that has stumbled along for years. This summer the rented telephone company DSL modem started going out, we'd get a few hours of net then have to power cycle the modem/router. Wifi Analyzer would show the signal go from -40 Dbm then drop off the scale.

So I took it in for replacement (a 2 day job because their 1 tech is the only person who could put a password on it).

The new one is even worse, frequent drops to zero.

So hopefully this will get worked out, but it's been 5 days without reliable internet from our local provider.
Even SWMBO is starting to realize that having a local provider isn't worth manure much less $49/month for 0 to 7Mbps service.

My Mobley on the other hand has been providing a rather routine 12 to 22Mbps. For $23/month. But I bought the Mobley to go with me when I go to the shed, the field, the forest.

So I'm looking for a Mobley supplement.

Other threads mention Ubifi

and Netbuddy
4G LTE Home &Travel Internet solutions. The best deal going @ $6 Monthly. as viable solutions.

Then there is also Devices - OTR Mobile and straight AT&T for $80/month AT&T Unlimited Data Plans Give You More with Free Live TV.

So TBN - recommendations?

Not sure what a Mobely is, but why are you using DSL if this gives you good service?

How does the DSL modem work with a wired connection to your computer? Unless you need wi-fi for some reason, why not just pick up a network switch and hard wire any computers in the house to the DSL (assuming it isn't the DSL itself that's dropping out).
If you DO need wi-fi and the DSL works hard-wired, you should be able to get a wireless access point and not deal with the phone company's wi-fi.

If the Mobley is working so well why haven’t you added a second one? At $23/mo x2 it’s still cheaper than DSL.

Because it doesn't give good service, has terrible speed and the support is "Southern Slow"

When was the last time you tried to buy a Mobley?
Last time they were for sale since 2017 was January and early February of 2019 The $20/mo Mobley Chrysler/Mopar eMail Campaign Deal Now: Out of Stock - Mobile Internet Resource Center.
Sadly, what came to be known as 'The Mobley Plan' was retired in September 2017.

The cell phone companies have equipment that brings internet in over the cell phone system. I have used it on remote construction sites with excellent results. Assume you do not have cable internet.

I had DSL where I used to live, but we were a few miles past the degradation point, it was very slow, never over 1Mbps. When I moved there isn't even that available and we had to go hughesnet. I have found hughesnet to be better before we reach our data caps, after that it's almost unusable and the dsl might have been better.

Living rural, and wanting tech, are two things I have found do not mix. Sure some guys are lucky, but we live in a hilly area and cell signals don't even make it near me. I have to wonder around a certain part of my property if I want to make a phone call, but most of it doesn't have any service from Verizon,ATT, Spring,Boost Mobile etc...

Sometimes you just gotta get used to slow internets.

I get a very weak cell signal and use a booster for my cell. Added a Jetpack($100) from Verizon.

I get 15 GB for $20 a month. It is not enough to last the whole month unless I limit the amount of video I watch. It still works after 15GB but is slower.

But it is much better than Dish satellite that cost me $60 and was capped at 10 GB.
