Tyshan (Jinma knockoff) 254 gearbox problem

When moving a load of firewood in my bucket yesterday, after unloading, my tractor was stuck in 3rd gear. Even though I could move the shifter into 1st , 2nd and reverse, but not 3rd or 4th, the tractor was constantly in the gear I parked in (3rd). Today I removed the inspection plate and manipulated the forks and was able to free the stuck gear. When testing her out, I was able to access all gears, however there was intermittent grinding in 3rd.
I assume that gear has been damaged. Any advice about whether or how that gear could be replaced would be appreciated. Thanks.

What year is your tractor? Do you have a parts manual? Please post a picture of your tractor. I have not heard of that brand and wonder how similar it is to the equivalent year Jinma.
