TYM273 just cut out

Hi

New battery installed (a saga, but done) - seems good - started it up - cranked a few times then just dead.
I did take the brake lock off during this but it is still dead after relocking.
I know it could be anything electrical but after the fuses what is most likely?

Had problems with wiring because of frame twisting. Had to tap up wires under dash. Was also blowing fuses. Will the starter turn the engine over?

No just went completely dead - no clicking for the warmup even - and battery is new and has plenty of current.

Check the (negative) ground from the battery where it attaches to the motor. If it is loose, what you described is what happens, just tighten it up on the motor end.

Thanks for the clue -was the +ve battery post loose - I had just installed a new battery a few mths ago so didn't think to check

I hate it when that happens. When I was in the Navy we always used the "Check the last thing you changed, fixed or touched" method.
