TYM 273
Hi

I have a Woods bb48 rotary brush mower that worked fine with a Mahindra, but now with a TYM273 it only works driving backwards. If I try to drive forward the front of the bb48 digs into the ground.

Thing is I can't see how it can go higher in the front. Where the toplink is mounted on the tractor it is LOWER than either of the holes on the top bracket of the BB48.

Can it be that the BB48 is just plain incompatible with this tractor!??

The low to the ground TYM 273 has been great for me on my steep Montana mountain property due to the low center of gravity (especially with ballast in the rear tires) but the 3pt lacks in the amount of lift the competitors offer. My mower is a King Cutter 5ft mower (not near the quality of the woods but serves the purpose). I was able to make it work by switching the swinging bracket of the top link to the bottom and the stop bracket to the top. Not perfect but it got me mowing. In the future I plan to relocate the Cat. 1 pins lower on the 3pt assembly and see if I can gain just a couple more inches of clearance.

Good luck....
