tym tractor mode sensitivity switch

Anyone have this on your tractor? Used for plowing maybe? Owners manual does not cover this other than say there are 3 modes and a on and off switch.

Bud I might be wrong but I think that is for the tractor to raise the rpm by itself when it bogs down like when you dig into a pile of dirt to scoop out.

Btown I believe you are right. Just don't know where to use mode 1 2 or 3. I guess I will just have to try them all.

The switch is for the HST pedal sensitivity. The middle is like a "regular" HST, flipped up the tractor stops and starts faster and flipped down it starts and stops slower.

I use in the up position (1) when using the FEL when digging into dirt piles and down (3) when mowing, never had a need for the middle, still wished it would release faster in the up position, depending how fast that I come into the pile of dirt, it will still bog the motor before the HST fully disengages. If you're rolling kind of fast and it's in the up position and release the pedal fairly quick, it's like slamming on the breaks, if it's in the down position it will coast some and come to a slower stop, great for mowing.

It controls how far the tractor rolls when you take your foot off the HST pedal. Just saw a video of a JOhn Deere that explained it well.
