Good afternoon, I am having some difficulty understanding how to properly raise and lower the 3 point hitch, when I watch a video on youtube, The operation is as simple as moving the position lever. Both Hydraulic remote "A" and "B" appear to be in neutral and nothing is attached to the rear hydraulic valves.
please bare with me as this my families first tractor newer than 1990 and may be a simple Q/A that we are not understanding and the manual is definitely not helping as I've read the thing font to back multiple times and would probably be able to fix some errors in the manual at this point.
The issue I am having/ not understanding is this: why do I need to have my detented Hydraulic remote "A" in either the rear/ forward position OUT OF neutral to raise the 3 point hitch? This Confuses me because if I ever wanted to use the hydraulic valve marked "A" does that mean I would lose function of raising the 3 point hitch?
in the manual it states not to have the hydraulic remote in the open position allowing oil to flow through the relive valve, however it seems impractical to me to have to take my hitch out of "Neutral" to raise it each time. When I have the hydraulic remote switch in the neutral position, I can only lower the hitch with my position lever. When it is in the forward detent it makes a loud relive valve sound and the rear position it makes a lesser relive valve sound but the engine RPM definitely changes and I can hear fluid flowing through something restricted.
on our older JD the position lever had no neutral position, it just worked. Im wondering if something hydraulic was plumbed incorrectly.
Thanks for reading-Sneaky
