Is there an electric ATV or UV that can haul two scoops of sand? (from a 72" FEL)

If not what is the most economical gas/diesel ATV/UV for hauling and dumping?

I haven't started looking yet just wanted to be pointed in the right direction.

My dealer has a new Trail Gator 6x4 Diesel that will handle that. It is ~$8300 which is a great deal. Someone ordered it and couldn't get financed. Used diesels aren't much less than that.

I havew hauled 3 scoops of dirt from the 60" inch bucket of my 4310 but I have never hauled sand. When you go over a 3 1/2 ft bucket you will be dumping part of the scoop on the ground. If you have a bed big enough for the six foot bucket you no longer have a utility vehicle, you now have a truck.

John Deere has an electric gator that will handle that load no problem.

The E-Gator , did not know they existed, very interesting, thanks. Seems like my expectation of a 72" bed is not practical on the ATV/UV and part of the scoop will fall on the ground, but thats OK. After hauling sand and whatever during the day, tootling on all the homemade roads in the early morning or late evening with the quietness of the electric motor appeals to me. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
