I have a new FEL for my BX 2200 and after a few hours use, I have noticed 2 issues:
1) The bottom most male hydraulic fitting on the 4 way valve leaks very slightly when I have the loader off while mowing. It leaks enough such that there is ~ 1/2 teaspoon of oil in the protective cap after mowing for an hour or so. Sometimes the cap actually comes off because of the slight pressure and/or extra lubrication. I have "cycled" the valve to re-seat it, but I can't tell that it made any difference. Any other suggestions or fixes would be appreciated.

2) Both pins on both ends of my bucket (but not the center) are missing the small pin that is supposed to keep them from sliding out. I noticed this because one of the pins had slidden about 1/2 inch. What type of pin is supposed to be there? Did some type of operator error on my part cause the keeper pins to sheer?

Thanks for your help.

The leakage of the quick disconnect is either age or dirt. In either case it is likely that the o-ring in the QD is either damaged or some contamination is just not letting it seal. You could remove the QD and flush it with a cleaner. Make sure that you push in the poppet in the QD to clean behind the seal. If that does not solve the leakage issue, it should be replaced.

As to the locking pins, the original Kubota are pin with a ring at one end, that flips over. It has a distinct open and closed position. You could use any suitable clevis pin to hold the main main pin, or go the a Kubota dealer and buy the OEM lock pins.

I gotta agree. Either age or dirt on the QD. I had to replace mine last year. A clevis pin will work for the loader, or you can use a large cotter pin (that is what is in mine). Just about anything that will keep the pin from working its way out.

welcome kp! :D

The QD leak is pretty common and 1/2 teaspoon really ain't all that bad.

The factory pins to hold the FEL pins are lynch pins with apple keeps. Swear to God, that's what they are called. Doubt you are doing anything wrong: they are hard to break, but easy to lose. Can find at any tractor supply.
