How many are old enough to know what GEICO stood for? (G)overnment (E)mployees (I)nsurance (CO)mpany. If I remember right, they first tried to sell me insurance in 1959 when I became a clerk in the U.S. Post Office.

And when I got a membership in the first Sam's Club in Dallas, membership was only open to government and utility company employees.

Joined price club when living in San Diego... I almost went broke saving money! The TV and radio ads I hate most beside all the insurance ads are the ones for HARP... My two homes are paid for so I hate the back to back ads for refinaning home loans.

The drug ads are not likely to ever get me to buy their drugs, but I do sometimes get a laugh at them when they run through their list of possible "side effects" that sound much worse than the problem they're intended to cure.

Side effects may include headaches, nausea, diarrhea, and upset stomach. For a drug that cures..................................upset stomach!!!!

Personally I likes the ad a few years ago for the restless leg syndrome medication that has a side effect of compulsive gambling.

Those are voters man!! People hooked on food stamps will vote to keep them. Keeping America fat, dumb, disarmed, and dependent on the government is our current administrations dream. Best wishes.

I agree that food stamps are too easy to get but.....in fairness.....it ain't just this administration that caused the problem.....have a look at this......Obama and Bush should be toasting each other!

OK but when bush was in office it was required to raise food stamp allowance in order to improve agriculture. Look at crop prices now. Our president does not care about farmers or working class. Hopeless...

The point I was making is that both Obama and Bush suck when it comes to these types of programs. Not sure either president gives/gave a crap about farmers or the working class. Like I said.....it ain't just one sided.
