Turn Signal Flasher Relay

So the turn signal flasher relay just suddenly failed in my RTV-X1100C. When I turn a signal or 4-ways on, all four exterior and the dash indicators stay on solid.
Kubota wants $200 for this relay here in northern Ontario, so I bought a whole new complete signal kit for $300 instead as dumb as that sounds.

Anyway, my question is, is there anything I should check before I try new one, or do you think it just failed? Would something else cause it to fail prematurely? I don't see any damaged wires. Today I'll pull all the bulbs and check them.
It's an 8 pin relay. Any way to test it with a multimeter? I did find a you tube video on testing an 8 pin but it's in a foreign language and I can't understand a thing he's saying, LOL

Cant help on the relay but I do watch a bunch of the non english you tube vids.
Have you gone into settings on the vid to see if it has auto translate captions.

Saved myself $300 today. Took relay apart, cleaned circuit board and worked my magic. Then mounted it correctly this time, not weep hole side up like dealer did. Works perfect again.
