Awesome! Any idea why they line up like that?

No, I really don't know why. This time of the year they seem to stay in this large group. I have watched this group get larger every year. They come through this plot. ( this one is close to my house) around the same time every day 7:30 - 8:00 am

If I were a betting man...........I would guess that there are ants, or some other type of bug using that corridor. That would explain the 'line-up'.

I've got a bunch like that here, 30-40 birds.

For a while I'd see one with a bag leg. He hopped around on just the good leg and got around just fine.

Now I know where all the turkeys that used to be here went.

One of the hens in that group has only one leg and seems to get around just fine. I wonder how it stays on roost in a tree with only one leg.

Here are 4 gobblers that got close enough to take a picture with my phone.

Your goinghave lot more come Sept/Oct,

The wheat won't make it to maturity. After turkey season I plan to plant beans and corn for deer season.

Nice pics! Hoping to go shoot one this Friday AM. Haven't seen them in the numbers we had earlier in the year, but last time we went to plant some trees, busted a few hens when we pulled up.

Season opens here Saturday. Hope the weather is good and the birds show up early.

I planted a few rows of sunflower seeds here a couple of years ago.
The turkeys followed right down my rows, and ate every sunflower seed that I put out.

Now I go along the rows with electric fencing. But I'm not seeing as many turkeys either. I don't know they moved on.
