Turf Tires

How much should I expect to pay for a set (4) of turf tires mounted to steel rims? My tractor is an L3901.

I don't have any reference handy at this time, but if you call Your local Kubota dealer and ask for "Whole-goods" (the folks that sell tractors not the parts counter) they will be able to quote prices of a complete tire/wheel assembly. 6 months ago I purchased new mounted tires for a bx2200 this way and they were only a few more dollars buying just the tires from a local tire store. Sold the old tires/wheels as some found value in them. Prices quoted from the parts counter will be significantly higher.

Would love to know this myself... My guess is about a grand, they are the cheapest of all of them. Let us know if you call...

When I bought a set of R4's for my BX2660 a couple years ago, they were $350 out the door... Rims, tires, mounted. From Kubota. I fell over.
I'm sure a large tractor will be 3X the cost.

It's a little over 1k for the turfs on the B2601, the tires for the L3901 are a little bigger and I believe were around $1500 last time I checked.

Last time I priced tires with rims (from Kubota) for my L4200 they were about $2000 for the set of 4.

Go to Kubota's web site and get the part numbers for the wheels. Google the part number with the word "wheel" behind the number. You should see some pretty good savings over dealer prices.

My best savings so far was a $1400 kit for a mid pto on my 4410 for $250.

This is the way to go. Whole goods is about to save my dad some cash on replacing his B series front R4's. It will be about 250 for the front tires and rims, which is the same price he would be pay for just the rubber at the cheapest place elsewhere.
